ABOUT ME
From a small town in Ontario, Canada I learned and appreciated sport and art. Growing up I focused on physical art; drawing and painting but through the years I realized my true dream of story telling through video, combining video and audio to inspire, entertain viewers. Learning about videography and design through schooling and volunteering I realized how powerful it is to tell a story visually. Attending both Sheridan College and the College of Sports Media my knowledge and technical aspects grew. As my passion for editing excelled as did my interests in sport. My athletic background helps me create promising visuals and stories within the sports media landscape. This passion and strong combination brought me success at theScore television network and Rogers Communications. At both these businesses my understanding of proper storytelling reached an even higher level. I learned how to inspire and captivate viewers through an incredible ride filled with emotional stories.
Over the years my desire to story-tell and create visual messages has continued to grow as I began to explore the realm of audio and the importance of audio in story telling. This growth help creates a stronger more powerful, emotional story. Combining selective visuals and proper sound can create one true identity.
Both my creative and technical aspects of editing in addition to my understanding of how to story tell continually grow and change as the future of the media landscape evolves. I can't wait to growth with it. My passion for the media industry, positive attitude, and a strong desire and willingness to learn will be an asset to your business.
